Regionally, Curren Environmental is an accredited education provider in New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. We teach both core and elective classes on environmental topics.

What is Curren’s Environmental Education Program?

Curren’s Environmental Education Program connects you with certified instructors who bring over 25 years of hands-on experience in environmental topics. Our team leads classroom and office sessions designed to help you navigate today’s environmental challenges with confidence.

Is Curren’s training accredited?

Yes. Our courses are recognized as accredited electives and core classes in various states.  We have accredited classes in New Jersey, Delaware, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Mississippi and Pennsylvania*.

*Not all classes are accredited in every state.   For national speaking engagements, select state approvals can be obtained.

How is the class performed? 

Courses can be picked from an existing catalog or a custom presentation can be developed based on the objectives and interests of the event.  Once the date and location are confirmed, Curren will provide information to the Site Class contact that can be emailed and provide an overview of the class with pertinent dates and times.

Curren requires the Site Class contact to provide a class head count 48 hours before the scheduled class. Attendees are required to sign in and provide their License number if professional continuing education credit is desired. Classes are presented by a certified instructor with visual aids regarding the particular areas covered. Classes in NJ are one hour and in PA are two hours, and each ends with an open Q&A & session. 

Who can attend the training?  

Anyone wanting to be more informed about environmental topics is welcome to attend.  For individuals seeking knowledge and Continuing Education Credits, well then, Real Estate Agents, Home Inspectors, Property Managers, Banking Professionals who manage real estate, Attorneys, and Insurance professionals.    Prior attendees have included attorneys, real estate developers, mortgage originators, real estate professionals, insurance professionals, home inspectors, and environmental industry personnel.

We do the classes because we truly believe that educated, informed decisions are the best decisions.

Do you do corporate event training?

We have been invited to company events where education is part of the agenda, aside from corporate training or awards ceremonies.

Can you teach at off-site events with entertainment?

We have taught at wineries, restaurants, breweries, hotels, and conventions.  (Triple Play in Atlantic City).  Some of the more fun events end with a graduation party with food and drink.

 What other education programs do you offer?

We offer talks similar to TED or Ask the Expert.  In short, we attend an event or meeting and provide a summary of environmental issues to spark questions from attendees.  Ask The Expert allows attendees to pose questions in a group setting that they may have encountered in a particular circumstance.  These talks encourage attendee communication and help explain why things happen a certain way and how to avoid pitfalls.   These talks have no education credits but have received positive feedback from attendees.  People leave with more knowledge on the topics discussed.
