1000 Gallon UST Removal

Bigger was thought of as better.   

With oil tanks, a larger tank may have afforded the owner a discount on purchasing oil in a higher volume.  The building the tank serviced may also have required a larger tank as the bigger the building typically the larger the tank.

So, the 1000-gallon tank will need to be properly decommissioned.  Decommissioning typically entails removing the tank, but how do you remove a 1000-gallon tank?   Like all tanks, you have to remove all liquid to prevent oil from leaking in the future.  You must also test the soil around the tank to ensure the tank did not leak.  You see the biggest issue with any oil tank is if it leaks, oil tank leaks can cost tens of thousands of dollars.
